Tools

Utilities around a run: watching its progress, converting positions to and from geographic coordinates, and land/coast fields for each model. They replace the Tools chapter of the Fortran documentation (in situ post-processing and pyTRAJ).

• Monitoring and debug output: RunMonitor backends and verbose logging.

• Coordinates: xy_to_lonlat and lonlat_to_xy for the adapters and for any grid.

• Land and coast: landmask and distance_to_land for every model.

• Analysing trajectories: recipes with tracmass.load and pandas.
